  4. have to discard your old catalog files and start anew.    The old files are not
  5. compatible with this version as the internal catalog structure has been changed
  6. somewhat to use less disk space (each 1000 files will now take up 60,000 bytes
  7. less, so I feel that the change was worth it!).
